How are prices for carpets calculated?

Current products are all sold at a square meter price - the website should display these on both the search grid and the product page. Once you have entered your required length in the box (and, if applicable, selected a width from the drop down menu), our website will automatically calculate the total for you.
If you wish to check the total, simply take the displayed square meter price, then multiply it by length and width - e.g. if the carpet is £10 per square meter and you want a 5m x 4m cut, then the total price will be 10 x 5 x 4 = £200.

A Note About Price Tiers

When ordering carpet, you will probably notice that there are different per-square-meter price tiers depending on how much you order.
Currently on the website, paying a lower price tier does depend on ordering the carpet as one large cut - if the order is in several cuts the price will remain at the higher price tier, even if the total order is over the threshold.
We can divide a larger piece into several cuts if necessary - this actually makes it easier to transport - if you would like us to do this for you, simply add the sizes you need to the ‘notes’ box at checkout.
