Polypropylene Carpet

Polypropylene is far easier to clean than Wool- it can be cleaned with bleach without being damaged. It does not not absorb moisture and because of this it will dry quickly. They are also more affordable. However, they tend to flatten quickly and are not very hard-wearing. They can also melt when heated so are not recommended for anywhere with open flames. NB: Polypropylene is not to be confused with polyester, which is a similar but different material - we do not supply any pure polyester carpets but if you wish to know more about the properties of polyester carpet then get in touch via phone or e-mail.
